Tri Cities Urgent Care lab services include noninvasive diagnostic tests that screen for illnesses, injuries, and diseases. Providing on-site lab services saves you time and money because you don’t have to schedule a separate medical appointment or travel to another clinic to complete lab work.

What can I expect when taking advantage of lab services?

When you undergo lab testing, your provider could take a sample of blood from one of your veins. They might ask you to leave a urine, saliva, or stool sample or swab inside your nose or throat. During a biopsy, they numb the affected tissues and take a small sample to analyze in the lab.

You typically receive lab results soon after the test, later the same day, or the next day.

What do my results mean?

After your Tri Cities Urgent Care provider receives your lab test results and makes a diagnosis, they review those results with you. They could recommend rest and fluids, over-the-counter (OTC) medication, prescription medication, or additional treatments. Tri Cities Urgent Care also offers referrals to other specialists or hospital care when needed.
